Brilliant, botanical, and absolutely beautiful: The 35th Annual Chester County Antiques Show, held this past weekend in support of Chester County Historical Society (CCHS), was a great success!

Fig Directors, Bri from Kennett Square and Gretchen from West Chester, attended and explored the incredible showcase full of exceptional 18th and 19th century American and Continental furniture, rugs, paintings, ceramics, glass, silver, jewelry, needlework and other decorative arts from over 45 vendors.

The show proceeds go to a variety of initiatives for CCHS including the development of a multi-gallery exhibit promising to feature a beautiful compilation of historical pieces from the Chester County area.

This year, the show theme was Botany and featured special lectures by Jenny Rose Carey, Senior Director PA Horticultural Society Meadowbrook Farm, and Joel Fry, Curator at Bartram’s Garden.

Many individuals and organizations, including PECO--the corporate sponsor of the event, helped ensure that this event was possible. The show was chaired by Francis “Fran” B. Jacobs II and Chuck and June Piola. Attendees also had a opportunity to experience a preview party full of delicious cocktails, hors de’oeuvores, and a light buffett by Jimmy Duffy Catering.

Although the show is over, you can still make an impact and choose to donate to CCHS by checking out their website. Help make a difference by supporting the remarkable legacy of Chester County and the rich history that has cultivated the area for many years. We're so happy we had the opportunity to sponsor this great event!
